The Lead Director, FP&A plays a pivotal leadership role in financial planning for CVS Health's largest and most dynamic business unit. The Director will be responsible for leading a team of 8-15 team members at various levels and will report to the Executive Director of FP&A within the Pharmacy Services business unit of the Health Services Segment of CVS Health. This business unit is often referred to as Caremark, a PBM. As the Lead Director of FP&A you will lead and support components of the Caremark business unit in budgeting, modeling, forecasting and variance analysis. This role will also provide support to P&L leaders of the Executive Committee. Key Responsibilities Include
- Ownership of key inputs into the Multi-year plan, Annual operating plan and quarterly forecasting.
- Assists in the preparation of monthly financial packages to be presented to senior leaders
- Develops revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis and ensures financial data accuracy
- Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior leaders
- Carries out ad-hoc financial planning and/or analysis of projects of varying nature and complexity which may include: financial metrics, process improvement initiatives, competition, etc
- Manage and oversee the development of team talent and providing training/ learning opportunities, striving for a high-performance, sustainable organization that meets its strategic and operational goals and objectives
- Initial areas of focus include the Wellpartner/340B business as well as Specialty Pharmacy pricing, M&A, Client Profit reporting and Careplus financials, however responsibilities may change as the department evaluates future state design.

- 10+ years of prior professional work experience in a corporate Finance, or similar function
- 5+ years of budgeting, forecasting and analytics experience
- 5+ years people leadership experience
- 7+ years leadership experience
- Previous Pharmacy or healthcare experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field requiredPay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
