Labor Relations Administrators are responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships between an organization, its unionized employees and union representatives. They receive, investigate and manage grievances and provide support and advice to managers on union-related issues. They assist in the preparation of collective bargaining. They also collaborate with Human Resources and Legal to develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws.Job Description:
- Manage the grievance procedure by receiving, tracking and investigating grievances as they arise.
- Advise management on the administration of collectively bargained agreements and colleague discipline.
- Analyze and interpret labor contracts to support development of labor relations policies and procedures.
- Interact with and foster a positive relationship with internal/external union representatives.
- Maintain a deep subject matter knowledge of federal, state, local and CVS Health labor regulations, policies, guidelines and procedures. Continuously provide advice on updating policies, procedures, and practices as appropriate.
- Assist in proposal development for collective bargaining and participate in negotiations as appropriate.
- Provide training to leaders of unionized colleagues.
- Evaluate and implement programs to improve employee relations and minimize grievance claims.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of general business experience
- 1+ years of labor/employee relations experience
- Superior knowledge of principles and practical application of U.S. federal and state labor and employment laws, to include collective bargaining, employee relations, and grievance administration.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a business leader in Retail or Pharmacy
- 5+ years of labor/employee relations experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of working experience.
J.D. preferred. Anticipated Weekly Hours

The typical pay range for this role is:$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
