General Management Corporate Intern

You will be aligned to projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities. Our Corporate Interns can apply for future full-time roles during the program and have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a post-graduation role.The Summer 2026 program will run May 27 th - August 7 th 2026 , with Corporate University Relations onboarding taking place May 27 th and May 28 th .This is a hybrid position with 3 days ( generally Tuesday , Wednesday, and Thursday) in one of the following office locations based on your preference: Hartford , CT or Woonsocket , RI. The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice. Relocation stipends will be provided to qualifying interns and interns will be given the opportunity to connect with each other prior to the start of the program to coordinate housing if desired.The hourly rate is $25/ hr with 40 hours / week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave.About this business area: Our best-in-class General Management Corporate Internship Program accelerates your development and sharpens your management skills. Our summer internship roles will vary based on the team you are assigned to work with. Our internship roles provide you with real work experience within the general management function. You will be aligned to projects to lead or contribute to while also participating in networking, development, and career exploration activities.General Management Corporate Interns will have an increased likelihood to receive a post-graduation offer for the full-time General Management Development Program (GMDP). The GMDP is a rotational program comprised of three 13-month rotations across all areas of the E nterprise to strengthen the general management skillset.Examples of past internship projects include:
  • Collaborated with the Executive Director of Customer Experience Measurement to refresh the Voice of the Customer platform (Medallia), which reports over 18 million pieces of feedback annually. Gained experience in customer insights, data analytics, and platform optimization.
  • Supported national value-based contracting by assisting in market evaluation, contract negotiation, performance analysis, and operational issue resolution. Led internal process improvement initiatives and contributed to data reporting efforts.
  • Contributed to Aetna Commercial Central Region growth strategy by organizing broker/community events, supporting sales training development, and collaborating across Medicaid and Medicare business units. Created executive-level presentations and case studies using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Analyzed qualitative and quantitative training data for MinuteClinic Education, including survey responses, completion metrics, and assessment scores. Used insights to support fiscal forecasting and optimize training planning within a healthcare education context.
  • Evaluated sales trends and merchandising strategies for the Women's Health & Wellness category across 7,000+ stores. Presented findings to senior leadership and recommended solutions to improve customer experience and drive market share growth.
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.Required Qualifications:
  • Meet educational requirements (see education section)
  • Have a willingness to relocate to the office locations listed above
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects
  • Be outcomes-focused and a collaborative team member
  • Have internship or work experience in related fields such as business or healthcare
  • Have an interest in joining our full-time General Management Development Program within CVS Health upon graduation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (e.g., basic formulas, data organization) and PowerPoint (e.g., creating and editing professional presentations)
Education :
  • Currently pursuing bachelor's degree
  • Have an anticipated graduation date between September 2026 and July 2027
  • Have a major in one of the following fields: business, management, healthcare management, finance/accounting, economics, public health, health sciences, leadership studies, marketing, human resources, communications, psychology, or sociology
