The Spvr, FE OCR is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the Front-end departments within an Omnicare pharmacy and their operations.
In this high impact role, you will train personnel responsible for the planning, organizing and controlling of the pharmacy's over-all operations; organizes activities and assigns jobs accordingly to the staff. - Planning, organizing and controlling of the pharmacy's department over-all operations.
- Meet service expectations while staying within budget
- Constantly plan out all department resources and activities in relation to company objectives and set targets.
- Work with leadership to implement cost reduction principle in all aspects of pharmacy transactions and activities.
- Conduct routine staff meetings
- Coordinate work schedule
- Communicate and implement changes as directed.
- Monitor workflow, analyze patterns and trends
- Function as a working supervisor. Help out with workflow when needed in area of supervision within the front end of the pharmacy. i.e. Order entry, customer service, compliance and medical records
- Attend management meetings as required
- Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behaviors.
- Review and set performance standards for staff
- Counsel staff regarding performance and conduct annual competency assessments
- Organizing and conducting necessary training activities for employees; ensure timely colleague completion of all required training
- Cover additional shifts as needed
- Respect the privacy, confidentiality, and security of patient information and property
- Access only the minimum amount of patient protected health information needed to perform your JOB/ROLE well
- Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA
- Display behavior which exemplifies employee code of conduct guidelines

High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED)
1 to 3 years experience
Active Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician License
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of long-term care experience
- 1-2 years' experience as a supervisor
- Possess strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to solve problems
- Excellent communication skills and work well with other employees
- Excellent customer service skills
High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED)
Active Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician LicensePhysical Demands:
- May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this role.

The typical pay range for this role is:$43,888.00 - $85,068.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
