It is uniquely situated at the center of our retail and healthcare business for external clients.The Executive Director of Supplemental Benefits Operations and Account Management is responsible for delivering business and client operational efficiency throughout the benefits organization. This role leads a team responsible for delivering exceptional client and member experiences, implementing strategic initiatives, and optimizing processes across various benefits products and lines of business.The position involves extensive cross-functional collaboration with internal partners and a client-first mentality is essential to progressing new client programs. This individual will be responsible for leading, developing and coaching a team of 20+ individuals, leading the client management and Benefits Operations teams.Responsibilities:

- Develops and executes short and long-term vision and strategy for the Supplemental Benefits operations and client teams, aligning operating goals with initiative objectives.
- Routinely engages senior leaders (ED, VPs) across stakeholder groups to align on recommendations and strategic vision
- P&L management of $1B+ Supplemental Benefits business. Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and pulling levers to drive both top and bottom-line P&L metrics
- Closely monitors macro and micro trends in the retail benefit environment to evaluate competitive landscape using internal/external data; adjusts strategy and actions accordingly
- Champions innovation by aggressively progressing new ideas and approaches while balancing growth against financial risk and incremental cost to the organization.
- Deploys consultative approaches across a robust client base, recommending solutions leveraging new and existing assets and capabilities.
- Develops strong, and trusted, relationships with key stakeholders in Marketing, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Store Operations, Benefits, Sales and DDAT
- Develops strong client relationships to provide the right level of support and continue to grow the business
- Leverages data, insights, and analytics to influence stakeholders and makes recommendations as appropriate
- Vendor management, collaborating and negotiating with manufacturers and vendors ensuring strategies achieve in-year sales and margin goals to promote long-term success and partnership
- Develops the capabilities of direct reports to take on progressively higher levels of responsibility while also establishing and maintaining processes that help ensure colleagues have the skills and tools they need to deliver effectively

The typical pay range for this role is:$131,500.00 - $303,195.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
