The Executive Director of Pharmacy Marketing is responsible for leading the Marketing strategy, planning and execution of programs and activities to enable the success of several of these high-growth business initiatives, which together represent several billion dollars of corporate revenue.Specifically, the role will lead the development of the Marketing plans to shift perception and drive preference for our brands, and drive share for our business. Working closely with business partners across the Enterprise, including Executive Leadership, pharmacy and store operations, and extended marketing and communications teams, the Senior Director will be responsible for the following.Key Responsibilities:1) Develop and execute the marketing vision, strategy, and plan for key initiatives:
- Articulate, champion, and develop Purpose-led Marketing strategies and plans to drive measurable growth and inspires desire for our brand and services.
- Develop a deep understanding of the initiatives and strategy driven by the various retail pharmacy groups.
- Support the pharmacy teams in creating marketing strategies, plans, messaging and communication proof points against pharmacy products and services to build customer "stories" that solve customer issues and create differentiation for the CVS Health brand.
- Closely monitor results and adjust the plan accordingly.

- Define and understand consumer trends relevant to the business, as well as the market and competitive dynamics.
- Determine return on the marketing investment; build a learning plan to enhance and optimize the work.
- Create a pipeline of test-and-learn opportunities; execute and refine.
- Build strong relationships and knowledge base with key stakeholders, internal and external, and create Marketing center of excellence.
- Provides opportunities, guidance, and feedback to develop colleagues and ensure a pipeline of talent for the future.
- Supporting CVS Health in attracting, retaining, and engaging a diverse and inclusive consumer-centric workforce that delivers on our purpose and reflects the communities in which we work, live, and serve.
- A minimum of 12+ years of professional and marketing experience in well-regarded consumer-facing organizations; relevant sectors will include retail, healthcare, and packaged goods.
- Have a strong understanding on business priorities, macro trends, and consumer insights and can translate those into business and brand strategies
- Ability to synthesize data from a number of sources to succinctly and consistently champion unmet customer needs, impacting product and service design and priorities
- Deep comfort level with advanced Marketing technology to build and optimize data driven Marketing strategies
- Exceptional critical thinking skills to develop data driven hypothesis about where growth opportunities lie for the business and to outline strategies to advance those strategies
- Experience outlining customer segmentation strategies and making prioritization decisions about where to focus, why, and how
- Demonstrated experience to build business cases for capital and expense investment, along with the ability to impact and influence within the organization
- Proven ability to translate Marketing and consumer language into business acumen
- Proven track record of planning, monitoring, and delivering tactical marketing activities with a strong focus on ROI.
- Extensive experience developing and implementing go-to-market strategies for product and/or service launches.
- Experience managing, executing, and optimizing full funnel media campaigns.
- Exceptional team leadership and management skills
- Demonstrated operational and analytic competencies.
- Experience leveraging MarTech (i.e. Adobe Target and Sale Force Marketing Cloud) to create personalized consumer experiences.
- Ability to work Hybrid Model out of the Rhode Island office (in office Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday)
- Travel 10% to 15%

- Bachelor's Degree Required

The typical pay range for this role is:$131,500.00 - $303,195.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.Our people fuel our future.
