Executive Director, PBM Client Reporting Product Leader

The Executive Director, Client Reporting Product Development will lead and oversee the development of PBM front-end client reporting tools and systems. This leader will focus on meeting critical PBM client needs for data and reporting, including: pharmacy spend insights, historical cost trends and drivers, forward-looking projections of pharmacy spend, financial guarantee performance, product performance, member experience, and regulatory compliance. This person will lead an organizational transformation of the PBM client reporting experience into a strategic capability that drives client decision making in optimizing pharmacy spend and strengthens customer relationships.This position requires an agile leader, who can set direction and pivot between multiple high-profile initiatives. Also, strong collaboration skills are necessary, working cross-functionally with other internal and external teams including but not limited to Regulatory Affairs, Account Management, Sales Operations, IT, Data & Analytics, and clients. The ideal candidate will have strong independent leadership skills, strong financial acumen, a robust technical skillset, as well as analytical and communication skills. In addition, the individual must be able to independently interact with and influence a wide range of senior stakeholders and demonstrate a consistent track record of delivering results.You'll make an impact by:

  • Shaping the strategy and direction of the Client Reporting Product, including a value-oriented product roadmap, alignment with business and technology stakeholders, and leading a team to continually evolve the product to meet changing customer and market needs
  • Overseeing the development of one unified client reporting product that is highly automated and insights-oriented, with streamlined process to reduce administrative burden on the organization and its clients
  • Building and delivering new reporting tools and features in a phased approach, with focus on minimum viable product (MVP) for key customer archetypes and eventual scale to end-state experience for entire customer base
  • Ensuring an intuitive user experience in reporting tools for both internal and external customers.
  • Aligning product development roadmap to priority user needs and PBM strategic goals
  • Continuously identifying emerging customer needs and developing new features and automated reports in destination platforms
  • Directing and monitoring reporting investment, ensuring optimal return on investment and accelerated client impact
  • Partnering closely with data strategy teams to prioritize data enablement efforts that will unlock value from a client reporting perspective
  • Partnering closely with reporting production teams to pursue process improvement, streamlining, and automation opportunities that improve organizational efficiency and deliver a better customer experience
  • Partnering to ensure adequate documentation and training materials and programs are in place to promote appropriate use of tools both internally and externally
Required Qualifications
  • Ability to work Hybrid Model (in office part-time during week) if reside near a HUB location.
  • 15+ years of demonstrated increasing responsibility roles in corporate environments
  • 10+ years of demonstrated organizational skills (e.g., project management experience or managing cross-team/department initiatives with demonstrated success)
  • 5+ years of leadership experience (direct report experience or equivalent experience without direct report)
  • 5+ years of experience assessing and building a business case to identify areas of opportunities for the business
  • 5+ years of experience with executing on strategic initiatives to drive improved operational performance
  • Experience in Product Development
  • Experience working with Agile product development teams
  • Extensive experience translating customer needs into software product features, following the entire lifecycle from concept through delivery
  • Experience in B2B SaaS product management
  • Extensive experience in client/customer interaction
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree/MBA
  • Experience with one or more leading BI platforms (e.g., MicroStrategy, Tableau)
  • Familiarity with data processing technologies (e.g., relational databases, SQL, SAS, R)
  • Experience working in blended operating model that combines a software product with a service component (e.g., sales enablement, customer service, technical account management)
  • Experience/Knowledge of SAP/HANA
  • Prior experience working with or for a Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM)
  • Experience in highly regulated compliance environment
  • Process Improvement training / certification (such as Lean Six Sigma)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$131,500.00 - $303,195.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.Our people fuel our future.
