The Executive Director, Quality Assurance will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the quality assurance strategy for CVS Health, mostly focused on our Store Branded and some National Brand products. This role will lead a team of quality professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Legal and Ops, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. The Executive Director will play a critical role in fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement and execute a comprehensive quality assurance strategy aligned with key regulations (e.g., FDA) and the company's goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Establish and maintain quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Legal, Operations and many other teams to ensure quality is integrated into all aspects of the business.
- Oversee the development and execution of quality audits, inspections, and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.
- Manage and facilitate the removal of Front Store products based on regulatory guidance or safety concerns.
- Analyze quality metrics and data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement; develop action plans to address identified issues.
- Manage contracts and expenses with key vendor partners (e.g., UL, BV).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors regarding quality-related matters.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization by promoting best practices and quality initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in quality assurance methodologies.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance, or equivalent functions
- Minimum of 7 years in leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO), and industry standards.
- Proven track record of successfully leading quality initiatives and driving continuous improvement.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Certifications like Six Sigma, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE).
- Experience with vendor contracting and expense oversight and management.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, engineering, science) or equivalent experience.
The typical pay range for this role is:$131,500.00 - $303,195.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
