We are seeking a visionary Distinguished Engineer with a profound expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), automation, and governance. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our cloud infrastructure, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of scalability, reliability, security, and performance. As a key technical leader, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovative cloud solutions that support our business objectives and technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and optimize our cloud infrastructure, focusing on GCP, to ensure it supports our current and future business needs.
  • Design and implement robust cloud automation and orchestration solutions to streamline operations and reduce the time to market for new features and products.
  • Develop and enforce cloud governance frameworks to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Lead technical discussions and provide thought leadership in cloud computing, contributing to the strategic direction of our technology roadmap.
  • Mentor and guide engineering teams in adopting best practices in cloud computing, automation, and governance.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architectural designs.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their applicability to our business goals and operational requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a strong focus on GCP.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale cloud solutions, with a deep understanding of cloud architecture, automation, and governance.
  • Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire engineering teams.
  • Certifications in GCP and other cloud technologies are highly desirable.
Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experiencePay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$175,100.00 - $334,750.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.Our people fuel our future.
