In this role you have the ability to put your stamp on a newly created leadership team within the CVS' Labor Relations department.As a Director of Workforce Solutions and Engagement, you will be responsible for furthering CVS Health's enterprise labor strategy by educating and empowering leaders/internal stakeholders to be ambassadors of CVS Health's core principles of employee engagement and providing guidance on the development and delivery of strategic initiatives to drive positive workforce engagement. You will act as a credible business-oriented solution provider and trusted partner, aligned to a specific territory and/or business units. Develop collaborative plans that drive the engagement agenda and have a downstream impact within the organization.   • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience, develop communication strategies around organizational priorities and changes and respond to employee feedback in partnership with campaign management team.
  • Responsible for developing and effectuating a comprehensive training curriculum to provide senior leaders with a strong working knowledge of labor relations principles and empowering them to be agents of a positive workplace culture.
  • Advise, guide and support CVS Health senior leaders and managers on opportunities for remediation/prevention of workplace issues that impact morale, productivity, and organizational performance and/or may violate contract obligations; recommend and implement process improvements to enhance engagement and compliance.
  • Evaluate and enhance documentation associated with non-unionized employees, including training assets, applying subject-matter expertise to support an appropriate response to a variety of complex situations.
  • Maintain deep subject matter knowledge of federal, state, local and CVS Health labor regulations, policies, guidelines and procedures and continuously updates and expands resource library, training assets and action plans to reflect changes.
  • Partner across shared services teams, including Learning, Communications, Human Resources, Legal, IT and Business units to ensure that key stakeholders to gather the necessary data to assess the complexities of a given market/worksite for and to leverage in developing formulating fair and transparent solutions to employee engagement matters.
  • Apply strong analytical skills and attention to detail to understand complex problems and root causes; has the ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative data to develop insights, guide decisions, and formulate solutions.
  • Use data to measure if core behaviors and mindsets are embodied and actively fostered by leaders to create an inclusive and thriving environment in adherence with CVS's Heart at Work behaviors.
  • Ensure compliance with internal human resource policies and practices, and with relevant labor and employment legislation in partnership with HR and Legal and stakeholders/shared services.

  • Accountable for the design, collection, and analysis of data to identify trends and potential risk areas in effort to provide business leaders with informed and strategic insights.
The ideal candidate would reside on the West Coast Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in US Healthcare, Supply Chain, and/or Pharmacy industry (Retail, Mail Order, Specialty)
  • Superior knowledge of principles and practical application of U.S. federal and state labor and employment laws, to include collective bargaining, employee relations, and grievance administration.
  • Project management - stakeholder engagement and program execution and change management
  • The ability to travel to clients and key stakeholders up to 50% (including plane travel)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a business leader in Retail or Pharmacy
Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of working experiencePay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$100,000.00 - $231,540.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.Our people fuel our future.
