This leader will be responsible for sourcing and expanding business opportunities for the multi-billion-dollar store brand business at CVS Health. This includes the biggest brand in our retail stores, CVS Brand.The Director is a key leadership position to drive our ambitious growth plan for our store brand portfolio and the IQP partnerships. This role reports to the Executive Director of Store Brands and works closely with other Directors and Executive Directors within merchandising and inventory. Your main goal is to build strategies that deliver results by managing our global supplier base to efficiently source products that meet CVS store brands product specifications and competitive market costs. You will be responsible for creating new approaches to reduce cost and ensure supply of product. You will be responsible for achieving targets for cost of goods, in-stock, meeting key quality targets and accountable to the broader business goals of sales, margin, penetration, and differentiation that will drive increased value for our customers and loyalty.Major Responsibilities

- Develop sourcing strategies for rules of engagement including RFI/RFQ/RFP process and approaches with scope across the entire store brands portfolio
- Manage key sourcing partnerships and consortiums and establish new relationships to broaden our store brand sourcing goals and objectives.
- Lead a team capable of leading or facilitating supplier selection and negotiations and lead critical negotiations.
- Ensure we are meeting all sourcing criteria including savings, quality, sustainability, and in-stock levels
- Build processes to develop specifications to improve RFP's and monitor cost fluctuations with the broader market.
- Establish commodity tracking and other tools to monitor raw materials price fluctuations to better manage cost increase negotiations
- Develop a deep understanding of the supplier base including supplier performance, capabilities and capacities
- Partner with internal cross-functional team members to improve supply chain efficiencies and in-stock levels across the portfolio
- Strategically grow new business revenue streams to support cost effective product access for our customers.
- Present purchasing proposals, sourcing strategies, recommendations and approaches to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage the engagement and professional development of direct reports
- 10+ years of relevant experience in sourcing or similar experience, ideally in retail, CPG or healthcare organizations with analytical, purchasing, merchandising or buying experience
- 10+ years' proven track record of influencing others with and without authority
- 10+ years' experience building high-performing, successful teams developing key talent. Demonstrated passion for bringing new leaders along and helping them realize their ability to impact the business.
- 10+ years' experience actively taking on issues in a decisive manner, while keeping broader department dynamics in mind and empowering your leaders to obtain results through building behaviors.
- 10+ years' experience leading under pressure, adapting to changing dynamics in real time, and finding solutions that satisfy multiple 'customers' of the business.
- 10+ years' experience understanding and breaking down highly complex situations to deliver impactful solutions in real time.

The typical pay range for this role is:$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
