And we do it all with heart, each and every day.Position Summary: Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in High Point, NC: Data Engineer to design, build and manage large scale data structures, pipelines and efficient Extract/Load/Transform (ETL) workflows to support business applications. Duties include: develop large scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data to generate insights and addresses reporting needs; write ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) processes, design database systems, and develop tools for real-time and offline analytic processing; collaborate with Data Science team to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into automated processes; leverage knowledge of Hadoop architecture, HDFS commands, and designing and optimizing queries to build data pipelines; utilize programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages to build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems; build data marts and data models to support Data Science and other internal customers; integrate data from a variety of sources and ensure adherence to data quality and accessibility standards; analyze current information technology environments to identify and assess critical capabilities and recommend solutions; and experiment with available tools and advise on new tools to provide optimal solutions that meet the requirements dictated by the model/use case.- Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (1) year of experience in each of the following: Operations computerized system architecture development, including design, programming, installation, administration, and maintenance of advanced batch and process control; Real time and relational software programming, including OSIsoft PI, PLC, DCS, and ETL Data Warehouse systems; Ensuring continuous and accurate data flow across multiple interfaces, enterprise systems, analytical engines, real time notifications, reporting, and visualization; Technical expertise on strategic initiatives (goals/objectives, KPIs, milestones, resources, and actions); Best solution and key industry trends, including creating and deploying new and unique approaches in automation; Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); SQL programming languages; Visualization tools, such as PowerBI and Tableau; PI Visualization Suite, including DataLink, Data Archive, Connectors, ProcessBook, Web API, Integrators, and Asset Framework (AF).Pay Range: $81744.00/year to $126000.00/year.This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
