As a member of the Client and Network Pricing team you will be responsible for the coordination of drug pricing initiatives aimed at driving efficient pricing to our members. You will help grow the financial performance of our business by analyzing performance, optimizing prices, developing forecasts, and tracking to guarantees by collaborating with various internal business partners.

In this role you will consult with client account teams, underwriting, finance and accounting to coordinate impact between overall pricing guarantees, drug pricing, contractual terms, and relevant regulations, while collaborating with our analytics partners to create robust projection methodologies and management strategies to improve performance while minimizing risk. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing pricing and guarantees for assigned clients, including regular monitoring of performance to identify opportunities to mitigate financial risks
  • Collaborating with cross functional teams to identify opportunities in processes to improve client performance
  • Providing recommendations on more favorable contract terms based on performance observations to internal partners
  • Collaborating with data science and data engineering teams to develop analytic models, methodologies, and reporting solutions that support pricing initiatives
  • Presenting client performance and pricing solutions to internal and external partners
To be successful, you will need to bring a strong analytical mindset to a dynamic environment focusing on solving financial problems. Your success will be defined by your contributions to improving the financial performance for both our organization and our clients while minimizing risk.Required Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in Data Analytics, PBM, Financials, account management or similar roles.
  • 1+ years experience utilizing data-based programming language and pulling data (SAS, SQL, R, Python, GCP BigQuery, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of healthcare and PBM
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with high levels of internal and external teams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to construct analytic solutions to business problems
  • Ability to prioritize competing needs to ensure focus on highest impact activities
  • Ability to work in matrixed environment
  • Outstanding financial acumen and ability to understand highly complex financial guarantee structures
  • Advanced knowledge of in-depth modeling, forecasting techniques, and optimization methodologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience working on Tableau or other BI tools
Education
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Equivalent Combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Advanced degree in Financial or Quantitative fields preferred

The typical pay range for this role is:$60,300.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
