Combining the assets of our health insurance products and services with CVS Health's unrivaled presence in local communities and their pharmacy benefits management capabilities, we're joining members on their path to better health and transforming the health care landscape in new and exciting ways every day.Aetna is recruiting an AVP, Sales and Business Development who develops and manages a team that carries out processes for sales, account management, and business retention for the Mental Well-being businesses. Builds growth strategy focused on building pipelines in partnership with Aetna Medical sales and account teams and other CVSH assets to promote cross sell while also building key industry relationships to drive stand-alone sales including developing consultant and broker channels.Major Responsibilities

  • Formulates organizational policies, goals, and objectives based on best practices in the field.
  • Develops relationships with leaders of key clients, brokers and consultants to support sales efforts and initiatives.
  • Administers review of key performance indicators that drive sales and retention efforts.
  • Develops strategy for profitable growth bringing market insights to key functional areas including UW/Actuarial, product and operations to drive innovation.
  • Establishes team goals and metrics to measure performance in alignment with financial expectations.
  • Partners across the business to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.
  • Develops and implements a strategic and organized plan for acquiring new clients and relationships.
  • Leads programs for the complete sales cycle, from initial outreach to membership on-boarding.
  • Leads regional initiatives for creating sales forecasts, tracking sales metrics, and generating reports that assess performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions and accurate reporting.
  • Develops relationships with potential customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Develops methodology for resolving complex client inquiries, concerns, and escalations and serves as the primary point of contact for issue resolution.
  • Advises cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to align strategies, deliver exceptional client experiences, and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Establishes performance goals and provides guidance and support to foster a high-performance culture within the department.
  • Ability to deal effectively with multiple internal and external clients (brokers and agencies).

Education
Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$157,800.00 - $363,936.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.Our people fuel our future.
