This position is responsible for providing actuarial/financial support for Aetna's National Advantage Program (NAP) - over time, this position will be exposed to all aspects of financial support for the program:

• Monitor detailed program results to identify changes and trends.
• Support monthly program reporting and accrual calculations. Identify and explain drivers of monthly program results to key constituents.
• Independently respond to questions and provide ad hoc reporting, as needed. Assist with quantifying impact of customer level plan design changes.
• Assist underwriters with NAP cap reconciliations, to ensure these are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Develop and maintain queries using various tools to support program reporting and analysis.
• Become acquainted with and utilize multiple data sources, to provide most accurate and relevant program information.
• Participate in the broader NAP team and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Contribute to strategic program management by understanding, analyzing and explaining the impact of proposed program changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business partners (e.g., Network, Operations, Finance, Underwriting, Actuarial) to achieve program objectives.Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree along with 3+ years of experience in Finance, Actuarial, Underwriting and/or Medical Economics
• 3 or more years MS Office experience (Word, Excel, Access)
• Strong analytical skills
• Adaptable and self-motivated, with ability to manage own priorities to meet deadlines, and coordinate with manager/team members, as needed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to establish strong working relationships and effectively share observations and recommendations
• Well organized and detail oriented, with ability to successfully manage projects to conclusionPreferred Qualifications
• Knowledge and experience working in the healthcare industry
- prior actuarial exams passed
• Ability to work with large and detailed data sets; e.g., SAS, SQL, Python, Google Cloud/Big QueryEducation

The typical pay range for this role is:$92,700.00 - $203,940.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
