- Allocates work assignments, manages workloads, and ensures tasks are completed within deadlines.
- Ensures controls are maintained and implemented to verify all groups are billed timely and accurately.
- Assists with the development of team members by providing guidance, training, and support to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Balances and reconciles financial information with minimal guidance.
- Manages day to day issues and ensures billing department is responsive to all requests and escalated issues.
- Core understanding of different revenue streams and how they are billed
- Core understanding of Renewal and Onboarding process
- Perform the month end close accrual process.
- Ensures compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Coordinates and supports external and internal audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.
- Assists with the development of financial policies and procedures to ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
- Complete projects distributed by leadership as needed.
- Leading 10 to 12 employees
- 5-7 years accounting experience
- 3 to 5 years leadership experience
- Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills

- This is a hybrid position, in office 3 days a week located in Amherst NY
- Accounting experience in the healthcare/insurance industry
- CPA certification
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other closely related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and recent and related experience providing the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to complete all job duties. Anticipated Weekly Hours

The typical pay range for this role is:$60,300.00 - $132,600.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
