DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Carole Park. In this role you will coordinate operations through interaction with operations management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Coordinates or communicates activities between shifts and team leaders, customer and supplier departments, and other support functions.
- Assists management in organizing and coordinating headcount and overtime needs to meet production and delivery schedules.
- Ensures on the job training and other training requirements are scheduled, completed and documented.
- Assists management in creating and keeping a team which is focused on continuous improvement. Participates actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
- Teamwork - Communicate effectively with the assigned team and all support teams. Completes training and personal development in preparation for upcoming changes in the business and or technology. Coach and mentor less experienced team members
QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Previous experience in a similar role leading a team.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and inventory management.
- Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service - a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
- Logistics and Warehousing experience preferred, including 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) provider management.
- You must be certified to operate forklifts and/or other warehouse machinery.
- High Risk License (Forklift).
