We are looking for a talented Supervisor - Workshop to join our growing team in Wetherill Park, NSW. You will work closely with the technicians, coaching and developing their skills. You will provide work direction, review repair plans, manage sub-contractors, sourcing materials, developing quotations and more! In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Deliver a first-class service to our customers.
  • Responsible for leading and mentoring a team of 8 technicians and apprentices.
  • Ensure your team achieves its KPI's to deliver results.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth process from beginning to end.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues / incidents to the Service/Branch Manager
  • Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens
  • Being a hands-on tools Supervisor from time to time, with minor repairs
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
  • Qualified Heavy Diesel Automotive Mechanic (Cert III) is preferred.
  • Organisational skills and multi-tasking, in a high-pressure environment.
  • Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
  • Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred)
  • Strong Safety focused and willing to drive HSE policies and procedures
  • Drive team performance to meet service KPI's
  • Self motivated and willing to work independently.
  • Has innovated mindset.
  • Creates right work environment through following Cummins Values.
  • Has strong leadership skills and willing to develop others
  • Some experience in a management capacity is ideal.
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role.

  • Monday to Friday shifts with some Saturdays
