DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Team Leader - Level IV to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Plainfield, IN
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Champion Safety Culture You'll actively promote a safe work environment by identifying hazards, ensuring PPE usage, and encouraging a culture where team members look out for one another-reducing incidents and improving morale.
- Drive Quality Excellence By enforcing standard work procedures and conducting inspections, you'll help minimize defects and non-conforming materials, directly contributing to product reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Optimize Team Performance Monitoring output and assigning tasks strategically allows you to meet production goals efficiently, reducing waste and controlling costs while maintaining high standards.
- Act as a First Responder Your quick response to equipment faults, shortages, and quality issues ensures minimal disruption to operations and keeps production on track.
- Facilitate Seamless Communication Coordinating across shifts and departments ensures alignment and continuity, helping avoid bottlenecks and miscommunication that could impact delivery schedules.
- Support Workforce Development By organizing training and mentoring less experienced team members, you'll build a more capable, confident, and engaged workforce ready to meet evolving business needs.
- Lead Continuous Improvement Your involvement in process enhancements and employee development initiatives will foster innovation and efficiency, driving long-term operational success.
- Strengthen Team Cohesion Through effective communication and active participation in improvement efforts, you'll cultivate a collaborative environment where everyone feels valued and empowered.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
The Team Leader position in requires coordinating team operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity, by providing necessary resources, training, and support to meet customer expectations and production schedules. Work hours are 3:00 pm - 2:30 pm
