We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Leader to oversee recruitment strategy, and operations across the Pacific region (19 Countries). This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing multi-country recruitment initiatives, navigating complex legal and labor landscapes, and leading a diverse, multicultural team.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Own and lead the end-to-end recruitment strategy and execution across 19 countries in the APAC Region.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Senior Business leaders, using data-driven insights to influence workforce planning and hiring decisions.
  • Leverage analytics and market intelligence to forecast talent needs, track performance, and continuously optimise processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment between recruitment outcomes and broader business goals.
  • Proactively identify risk, compliance challenges, and opportunities for innovation across diverse regulatory landscapes.
  • Take full ownership of recruitment operations — from budget and resource management to strategic change initiatives and transformation projects.
  • Change Management - Apply the Cummins structured process and tool set for engaging individuals and organizations through change to achieve and sustain business results and outcomes.
  • Data Analytics - Discovers, interprets and communicates qualitative and quantitative data; determines conclusions relying on knowledge of business or functional frameworks; simultaneously applies statistics, data validity, data visualization, and problem-solving approaches to effectively extract meaningful patterns and business insights; presents conclusions and outcomes that enable data driven business decisions.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing recruitment team, ensuring capability in modern sourcing, employer branding, and digital recruitment tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Extensive experience leading regional or multi-country recruitment operations in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior leaders.
  • Advanced analytical capability - experienced in workforce forecasting, reporting, and storytelling through data (e.g. Power BI, Excel, ATS reports).
  • Proven track record in team leadership, change management, and large-scale talent initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of regional labor markets, employment law, and compliance obligations.
  • Proficiency in recruitment technologies (e.g. Oracle, CRMs, LinkedIn Talent Insights, AI tools).
  • A mindset of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute talent acquisition strategies across multiple countries in the Pacific region.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, legal frameworks, and employment legislation.
  • Manage and inspire large, geographically dispersed teams with diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Oversee workforce planning, budgeting, and forecasting to align with business goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Extensive experience in multi-country talent acquisition leadership.

  • Deep understanding of regional labor laws and legal compliance.
  • Strong people management skills with experience leading large, diverse teams.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver accurate forecasts.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
