DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement planning system strategies to improve planning signals across the supply chain.
- Monitor and adjust parameters in the planning system to ensure optimal material flow.
- Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
- Execute daily operational planning processes within specified functional areas.
- Identify potential supply chain failures and mitigate associated risks.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop short-term tactical improvements.
- Use planning systems to drive consistent planning signals across the supply chain.
- Participate in functional process improvement teams.
- Apply Plan for Every Part (PFEP) principles to ensure timely and accurate material delivery.
- Manage part change control, evaluating and implementing engineering change requests while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Ensure master supply scheduling aligns with customer expectations and operational efficiency.
- Utilize advanced tools and dashboards for material availability, inventory optimization, and root cause analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree required (Engineering degree preferred).
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Skills and Experience:
Required Functional Skills:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in material planning, procurement, or production planning.
- Experience managing 10-12 suppliers and 300+ parts.
- Hands-on experience with material planning and supplier procurement.
- Understanding of material availability and shortage resolution.
- Prior work in manufacturing plant material planning (nice to have).
- Experience with inventory reduction strategies and use of safety stocks (preferred).
- Knowledge of allocation planning or constraint planning (nice to have).
- Familiarity with planning systems such as Oracle or SAP (nice to have).
Transferable / Enterprise Skills:
- Demonstrates a learning mindset and continuous improvement attitude.
- Strong prioritization skills; ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Basic-level communication and collaboration skills.
