Supply Chain Coordinator - Level II

DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision, the Supply Chain Coordinator uses statistical analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and validated planning parameters to translate demand plans into actionable supply plans. This role ensures optimal inventory levels, aligns supply with demand, and drives stability across the supply chain to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)

  • Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.
  • Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Participate in HSE training and initiatives.

Quality

  • Follow standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures.
  • Perform quality checks on planning parameters and support Plan for Every Part (PFEP).

Delivery & Planning

  • Conduct supply and demand analysis to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Monitor supplier performance and collaborate to improve On-Time Delivery (OTD) and reduce past dues.
  • Share firm orders and future schedules with local suppliers in a timely manner.
  • Improve customer fill rates and reduce backorders.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with stakeholders to minimize excess inventory.
  • Run simulations to assess planning parameter changes and their impact on KPIs.
  • Adjust planning parameters and forecasts to align with demand plans.

Teamwork & Collaboration

  • Communicate effectively within the team and across support functions.
  • Participate in training and development aligned with career goals.
  • Engage in continuous improvement projects related to quality, safety, and material flow.

  • Materials Planning System Utilization: Proficient in ERP systems and planning tools; uses Excel, Access, TOAD, OMS as needed.
  • PFEP (Plan for Every Part): Applies PFEP principles across the supply chain.
  • Inventory Management & Optimization: Uses analytics to determine optimal inventory levels.
  • Materials KPI Management: Interprets KPIs to drive performance improvements.
  • Network Master Supply Planning: Aligns supply plans with long-term demand forecasts.

Experience

  • Requires some work experience in supply chain, procurement, or inventory planning.
  • Intermediate-level knowledge gained through training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in supply chain or logistics preferred.
  • Education or training in materials planning, inventory management, or procurement is a plus.
