We are looking for a talented Truck Bay Supervisor to join our growing team in Darwin, NT. You will work closely with the technicians and apprentices, coaching and developing their skills.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, and Complete required documentation

Responsible for leading and mentoring a team of technicians and apprentices
Ensure your team achieves its KPI's to deliver results
Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth process from beginning to end
Being a hands-on tools Supervisor from time to time, with minor repairs
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Qualified Heavy Diesel Automotive Mechanic (Cert III) or equivalent (mobile plant) is required
Experience as a qualified technician, working with engine products
Experience in a management is preferred but not essential
Strong communication and organisation skills in a high-pressure environment
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
- Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution
- Locally valid driving permit (Preferred)
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- Advanced knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.
- Experience providing technical advice and coaching to junior technicians (preferred).
