DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented School to Work - IT Support Associate student to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Cummins Inc. facility Columbus, IN.

-This is a part-time and temporary position working no more than 19 hours per week .-

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Ensure Operational Continuity: By promptly diagnosing and resolving IT hardware and software issues, you'll help maintain smooth day-to-day operations for your assigned area.

Enhance User Experience: Your support will directly improve the productivity and satisfaction of end users by addressing their technical issues efficiently.

Strengthen Incident Management: Logging and managing incidents through the system ensures transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in IT service delivery.

Promote Knowledge Sharing: By training less experienced associates, you'll foster a culture of learning and help build a stronger, more capable support team.

Support IT Infrastructure: Your ability to install, configure, or manage IT hardware and applications will contribute to a stable and secure IT environment.

Drive Process Adherence: Following documented processes and escalation protocols ensures consistency and compliance with organizational standards.

Contribute to SLA Compliance: Your awareness and support of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) help ensure that IT services meet agreed-upon performance and response standards.

Adapt to Evolving Needs: By assisting with additional IT responsibilities as assigned, you demonstrate flexibility and a proactive approach to supporting broader IT initiatives.

Education

• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Current Enrollment: You must be a current student in high school or in a college/university pursuing a degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Networking, Computer Science or related fields is preferred.

Experience:

• Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

Compensation (for United States)

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The

final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's

qualifications and experience, where appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Development experience in Thingworx Platform, Thingworx Flow, and Navigate (Things, Services, Datashapes, Mashups, Thing Templates, etc.).

• Development experience in Windchill, including configuration and customization.

• Expertise in Thingworx setup and configuration, SSO, OData Connectors, and two-way SSL Connectors in Flow.

• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript programming.
