DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Receptionist - Level II to join our team specializing in Service for our Cummins Inc. facility in Nashville, TN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Deliver Exceptional Front-Line Support: Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring professional, courteous, and efficient communication that reflects the organization's values.
- Enhance Visitor Experience and Safety: Welcome guests with professionalism, manage sign-in procedures, and clearly communicate safety protocols to maintain a secure and organized environment.
- Ensure Seamless Scheduling and Coordination: Manage appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings to support smooth daily operations and effective time management for staff and visitors.
- Support Office Logistics and Hospitality: Coordinate lunch orders and manage office supplies to maintain a well-stocked, welcoming, and functional workspace for employees and guests.
- Maintain Efficient Mail and Courier Operations: Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including courier services, and oversee postage machine maintenance to ensure timely and accurate delivery processes.
- Facilitate Vendor and Supplier Communication: Notify external partners of site disruptions and shutdowns, maintaining transparency and continuity in service relationships.
- Manage Access and Security Credentials: Administer badges for new hires, contractors, and visitors, supporting secure access and compliance with site protocols.
- Contribute to Administrative Projects and Support: Assist with departmental initiatives and provide general administrative support, helping drive operational efficiency and team success.

Education/Experience
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

Essential Functions of the Role:
- Respond to general questions or direct visitors and callers to appropriate personnel, often using email or chat platforms.
- Monitor visitor access with electronic sign-in systems, check identification if needed, and follow security procedures.
- Communicate with local building teams when issues arise to get them addressed.

Relevant Experience:
