Job Summary:

Supports Engineers in carrying out production-related and inspection jobs; assists in monitor materials quality in processing plants and making the required adjustments; ensures maintenance of documentation and records. Works under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects. Conducts simple tests (for example on electrical function, reliability, packaging quality). Records results and prepare simple technical reports. Provides product and component testing using a range of measurement equipment. Provides advanced programming, training, and operation of measurement and test equipment. Assists customers in understanding/interpreting product specifications and application of measurement data. Participates in measurement uncertainty studies for measurements associated with measurement or calibration results. Ensures proper maintenance and calibration of the measurement and test equipment.

Quality Process Management - Proficient application of quality tools and methods (e.g. APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, Capability studies, Process Audit, inspection, test, etc.) to ensure quality of products, processes and services.

Laboratory Management - Leads technical resources while managing the business aspects of a laboratory using measure to control both the technical and business aspects of the organization and assuring the requirements of the appropriate certifications and/or accreditations are met.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Organize and supervise incoming, in-process, and finished product inspections to ensure consistent implementation of inspection standards and methods.
  2. Manage the quality inspection team, assign tasks, train new employees, and enhance team quality awareness and skills.
  3. Collect and analyze inspection data, identify quality trends, and provide reports to support improvement decisions.
  4. Assist with audits, prepare relevant documentation and on-site support, and follow up on complaints and returns.
  5. Participate in the development and revision of quality standards and inspection procedures, and promote 5S and continuous improvement activities.
  6. Manage risk/defective part in stock, assess the parts quality and coordinate the solution.
  7. Monthly compile data related to the above tasks, monitor and achieve targets, organize reports, and present summaries.

Basic qualification:
  1. College degree or above
  2. 2-3 years of working experience in quality inspection or quality management
  3. Strong communication skills and ability in multi-task, strong problem solving skills and team work spirit
  4. Proven team leadership experience to motivate and guide
