DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Production associate to complete our team in Edmonton, AB.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble product in order to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations.
  • Demonstrate a high level of competency in core work skills.
  • Achieve production goals.
  • Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
  • Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
  • Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet production goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Heavy duty mechanic apprenticeship is considered an asset for this position.

Experience:

  • Previous mechanical experience considered an asset
  • Previous shop experience considered an asset

About the role:

  • Working hours are Monday-Friday 7h00am to 3h30pm.
  • Unionized environment.
  • Salary starts at 28.99$ hourly as per current CBA
  • Following all Cummins safety policies.

  • Disassemble engines and haul truck modules with technician guidance.
  • Perform regular shop maintenance.
  • Support rebuild center in various other tasks such as painting, welding, etc.

Compensation and Benefits
