Placement Student - Marketing Operations

We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Operations student to join our team specializing in Communications for our Global Marketing Operations business unit in Darlington. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence summer 2026.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Support Cummins Marketing Operations by managing marketing collateral and digital assets that result in best-in-class literature that amplifies the power of our global brand using digital expertise and capabilities
- Work with the market segment communication teams and key suppliers to support the marketing collateral lifecycle process (setup, printing, fulfilment, translations, obsoletions, annual reviews) across all products and market segments
- Administer the digital asset management tool including asset uploads, user management and annual reviews to support asset management strategies
- Promote the services of the Collateral Lifecycle Management Team to the wider organization and marketing partner agencies
- Assist with digital marketing enablement projects and ad-hoc projects
- Assist in the supplier relationship management process
QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Studying for a Business or Marketing degree
- Proficient in business tools including Microsoft Office 365
- Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills with a keen eye for detail and digital savvy
