We are looking for a talented New Power Service Technician - Level I to join our service team in Lombardy, Italy .
The main intervention site is Rovato (BS), located approximately 70 km from Cummins Italy's headquarters.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Perform preventive maintenance and/or repairs on Cummins new power technologies (Hydrogen applications) at the customer site.
- Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring timely and efficient attention to their needs.
- Use specialized tools and follow documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete basic repairs, including preparation of required parts and tools.
- Escalate unresolved issues to more experienced On-Site Technicians and/or the supervisor.
- Carry out preventive maintenance activities in accordance with documented schedules and standards on Cummins new power technologies at the customer site.
- Complete required documentation such as service worksheets, time sheets, and warranty requests, either via handwritten forms or system input screens.
- Complete training aligned with skill level and company requirements.
- Keep the work area and tools clean and in good working condition.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation.

Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Technician trained as an apprentice with a vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution (electrical, electronic, mechatronic technicians).
- Relevant electrical certification (a plus), working at height certification (a plus), and a valid local driver's license (a must).
- Basic workshop experience and/or knowledge of Cummins products will be considered a plus.
- Basic knowledge of English, fluent in Italian, and available for 24/7 on-call service based on rotating shifts.
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Effective communication: Develop and deliver clear messages tailored to different audiences.
- Mainly electrical and electronic knowledge, as well as basic IT and mechanical understanding: Apply electrical and mechanical principles and safety standards to diagnose and repair products efficiently.
- Product repair and maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on mechanical/electrical products, ensuring quality and minimizing cost to customers.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and manuals.
