DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Production Associate - Level II to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our DTO Production Development Department in Darlington, County Durham, United Kingdom.
This is a permanent role working Monday - Friday 37.5hrs per week.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Ensure Safety and Environmental ResponsibilityBy actively identifying and correcting hazards, using PPE, and engaging in HSE training, you'll help create a safer workplace and reduce environmental impact.
- Maintain High Product QualityYour adherence to quality procedures like SPC and poka-yoke, along with performing inspections and managing non-conforming materials, will directly support product excellence.
- Achieve Reliable Production OutputOperating both manual and automated equipment efficiently and meeting cycle times ensures consistent delivery of products that meet customer expectations.
- Support Equipment ReliabilityBy performing routine maintenance and collaborating with skilled trades, you'll help minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly.
- Drive Continuous ImprovementYour participation in initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and process efficiency will contribute to a culture of ongoing improvement.
- Strengthen Team CollaborationEffective communication with team members and support staff will foster a cooperative environment and ensure smooth operations.
- Manage ETO and Logistics EffectivelyHandling ETO stock, coordinating parts delivery, and preparing AFS shipments ensures timely availability of materials and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to Procurement and Supplier CoordinationBy obtaining quotes, placing orders via Ariba, and liaising with suppliers, you'll support cost-effective and timely procurement of necessary parts.
