DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Inside Sales Coordinator to join our team specializing in Sales for our Business Development Department in Kitwe, Zambia.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :
- Streamlining Sales Operations: By supporting the sales team from lead to close, you'll ensure a smooth and efficient sales rhythm, helping the team stay focused on customer engagement and closing deals.
- Enhancing Customer Experience: Your prompt and professional handling of incoming calls and emails will ensure customers feel heard and valued, improving satisfaction and trust in the company.
- Accelerating Sales Cycles: By qualifying leads and routing them efficiently to the right sales professionals, you'll reduce response times and help convert opportunities faster.
- Delivering Accurate Quotes: Your ability to compile budgetary quotes for a range of job complexities ensures customers receive timely and precise information, which supports informed decision-making.
- Supporting Strategic Decisions: By participating in customer visits and making decisions in ambiguous situations, you'll provide critical on-the-ground insights that shape sales strategies.
- Ensuring Order Accuracy: Your role in processing orders and managing documentation like acknowledgements and shipping notices helps maintain order integrity and customer confidence.
- Proactively Resolving Issues: By identifying and addressing order or inventory issues early, and escalating when needed, you'll minimize disruptions and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Driving Retail Sales Support: Your active support across all branch personnel and retail sales tasks ensures a cohesive team effort, boosting overall sales performance and customer service quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Strong Sales and Forecasting Insight: Leverage your sales acumen and forecasting skills to analyze customer data, anticipate demand, and support proactive pipeline management that drives strategic sales execution.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Deliver excellent customer service by responding quickly and effectively to inquiries, resolving issues with agility, and maintaining a positive, solutions-oriented approach.
- Technical and System Proficiency: Be highly proficient in SAP and other digital tools, using your computer savviness to manage orders, inventory, and customer data accurately and efficiently.
- Effective Communication and Initiative: Communicate clearly with both customers and internal teams, while taking initiative as a self-starter to make decisions, solve problems, and support the sales force without needing constant supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience
- College diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
The compensation for this role is aligned with a local bargained or unionized agreement
