We are looking for a talented Health, Safety and Environment Leader - Low Complexity - to join our team specializing in Health and Safety for our Forest City, NC location.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Cross-Functional Relationship Building Develop strong partnerships across departments to ensure alignment, shared accountability, and a unified approach to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) culture.
- Employee Engagement & Inclusion Create channels for employee consultation and feedback, ensuring they are actively involved in shaping HSE programs, policies, and procedures.
- Risk & Compliance Expertise Lead hazard identification and risk assessment initiatives to uncover strategic improvement opportunities and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
- Planning & Execution Discipline Set clear HSE targets and objectives and manage action plans through to completion with accountability and follow-through.
- Training & Communication Strategy Build and maintain a robust support model through effective training, skills development, and internal communications that reinforce HSE priorities.
- Content & Data Governance Maintain accurate, up-to-date HSE documentation and support materials, ensuring compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards.
- Regulatory & Legal Collaboration Interface confidently with external regulatory bodies, supported by legal counsel, to manage inspections, reporting, and compliance matters.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset Use data-driven insights from audits, incident investigations, and performance metrics to drive ongoing improvements and strategic innovation in HSE practices. Education, Licenses, Certifications: College, university, or equivalent degree required. Health, Safety and/or Environmental degree preferred. Professional certification in HSE-related field preferred. Experience: Intermediate level of experience required, including experience in management of health, safety and environmental ISO Standards required. Minimal management experience preferred.
