DESCRIPTION

We're seeking a General Manager to lead our New Zealand business. You'll oversee all aspects of our regional business, managing through local branch and sales teams while driving growth and operational excellence across the country.

In this role you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Own New Zealand's P&L and financial results, develop annual plans, drive market growth, and build key partnerships.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans with sales and branch teams.
  • Grow the business by analyzing markets and building strong relationships.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and excellent service delivery.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate diverse teams.
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance.
  • Champion health and safety.
  • Drive continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Significant Operational management experience with P&L responsibility.
  • Proven track record in budget management and financial oversight.
  • Experience leading diverse teams in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong background in customer service and relationship management.
  • Exceptional financial acumen and business insight.
  • Proven ability to build and lead effective teams.
  • Strong conflict resolution and influence skills.
  • Commitment to health, safety, and environmental excellence.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferable

QUALIFICATIONS

The preferred location for this role is Auckland, New Zealand. Other potential locations include Rotorua or Palmerston North. While preference will be given to candidates based in New Zealand, Australian candidates will also be considered for cross-border relocation opportunities.
