Description

Responsibilities:

• Supporting Financial activities including month-end close, accruals & prepayments
• Understanding some fundamental areas of the financial balance sheet, profit and loss & Supporting standardization of work
• Working collaboratively across multiple business functions
• Rotation of roles to ensure good level experience to aid with qualifications

Qualifications

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum of GCSE Maths and English at Grade C / level 4-9, or equivalent
• 3 A levels Grade A-E are desirable
• Good listening and communication skills are essential
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as working on your own
• Good attention to detail
• Previous work experience or voluntary work is desirable
• Able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) confidently
• The desire to work in a professional office environment and to start your career is essential

For the apprenticeship programme, we prioritise applicants eligible for government funding for their apprenticeship and for this, you need to:

• Have lived in the UK or in the European Economic Area (EAA) for the last 3 years
• Be a resident of the UK for the entire duration of the program
• Not be registered to study on a UK government-funded course ending June 2024 or later
