Engine Field Service Technician (Greenstone)

Job Summary:

Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer's site.

We are looking for a talented Field Service Diesel Technician/Mechanic (Greenstone) to join our Distribution business in (Thunder Bay, ON).

14/14 days/nights rotation

Will make an impact in the following ways:

• Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
• Maintain own tools

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Completes complex internal engine repairs
• Performs engine overhauls unassisted
• Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
• Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software

work at customer site and provide oem repairs to customer equipment when no Cummins work is ongoing.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)

Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution

Locally valid driving permit

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Basic level field service work experience

Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products

Customer service experience
