Director, Enterprise Agile IT Coach
DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a talented Director, Enterprise Agile IT Coach , to join our team, specializing in Agile and IT coaching across a global organization. This hybrid role is preferably based in Indiana and includes approximately 10-15% travel, with remote engagement across all regions.
The Director, Enterprise Agile IT Coach , will serve as a transformational leader, driving agility and innovation across our global IT organization. This role will guide teams and leaders in adopting Agile and Product Management practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, empowerment, and customer-centric delivery. Supporting Business Unit IT teams, Enterprise Products IT, and Enterprise Platforms IT, the leader will also directly lead and manage a direct team of coaching practitioners. The leader will engage daily with IT leaders and other stakeholders to inspire change, build capability, and lead transformation at scale, applying local knowledge across regions including the US, LATAM, EMEA, China, and India.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Apply systems thinking to identify organizational bottlenecks and enable targeted transformation across IT.
- Partner with enterprise leaders to co-create and accelerate agile change initiatives.
- Advise on process and structural improvements that support agility and enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Facilitate large-scale events and open forums to promote collaboration, transparency, and adaptive ways of working.
- Recommend and shape processes and ways of working that reinforce agile principles and sustainable transformation.
- Mentor and coach Agile Coaches, IT leaders, and teams to build internal capability and foster servant leadership.
- Guide adoption of an Agile, Product-focused operating model for the global IT organization, including process design, team design and best practices for Agile ways of working.
- Support IT practitioners in developing clear product visions aligned to business outcomes, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), prioritization techniques, and roadmaps to deliver business value and improve customer experience.
- Engage senior IT and business stakeholders to foster understanding of Agile and Product and Portfolio Management practices.
- Lead cultural transformation by fostering a psychologically safe environment and empowering individuals through influence and leadership.

- Strong business insight with the ability to align Agile practices to organizational goals and market dynamics.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences and foster understanding.
- A global mindset, applying local knowledge across regions including the US, LATAM, EMEA, China, and India.
- Proven ability to manage conflict constructively, promoting resolution with minimal disruption.
- Expertise in building high-performing Agile teams using Lean-Agile principles to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
- Experience implementing DevOps and Continuous Delivery Pipelines, enabling on-demand value release.
- Skilled in planning and managing Agile ceremonies and release cycles, ensuring transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience

- College, university, or equivalent degree in business or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required.
- 10+ years of experience in software delivery, technology, or digital product operations within a large, global organization, including 5+ years applying Agile and Product Management frameworks in IT solution delivery.
- Experience as an Agile Coach for programs (teams of teams) with practical knowledge of lean methodologies, principles, and tools is preferred.
- Proven ability to lead with influence and servant leadership, coach teams through change, empower high-performing teams, and drive continuous improvement across global complex, cross-functional environments.
- ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching Certification (ICP-ACC), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Agile Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or Safe Scrum Master Certification (SSM) and Safe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) certifications are valuable if supported by experience working with teams that employ a variety of Agile methodologies.

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
