DESCRIPTION

You will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Vet all new applications to ensure completeness and accuracy in line with established procedures.
  • Conduct credit worthiness reviews via credit reporting provider/financial statements/payment history.
  • Set up new customer accounts or makes amendments to existing customer accounts within the system.
  • Ensure reconciliation of complex customer accounts. Prepares weekly/monthly reports as required.
  • Work cross functionally with Cummins Business Services, Sales and Business to identify potential issues and look for solutions.
  • Ensure escalation of high risk customers to Credit Manager/Sales team.
  • Monitor accounts receivable balance against credit limit to help with forecasting. Monitors and reports on balances owed on cash sale accounts.
  • Review blocked orders and releases where appropriate.
  • Ensure local entity credit activities are in line with Corporate Credit Policies.

These responsibilities include:

  • Creating, updating and maintaining Master data
  • Payment allocations, EFT and Credit cards
  • Investigate, process and approve Customer refunds
  • Credit worthiness assessment of new and existing customers with DOA of $25k
  • Customer creation and maintenance in Movex/SAP
  • Maintain central email inboxes
  • Maintain Discount code requests received from business
  • Regularly assist in internal and external audit functions
  • Admin team reporting
  • Quarterly non trade closures
  • Run monthly customer statements for SthPac Region
  • High Radius Maintenance
  • Cybersource Admin Maintenance
  • Branch support and training

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

Experience:

  • Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word, Access, PowerPoint with exposure to and experience with SharePoint.
  • Experience in working in a credit team environment /function is advantageous
  • Strong business partnering and communication skills essential
