DESCRIPTION
Plan and produce communications and related materials to meet the organization's objectives. Gather information on competitors, prices and sales, and analyze data and interpret results to determine communication strategies. Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data. Create communication design by presenting information from a variety of sources to engage target audiences. Plan, organize and execute communication campaigns and projects. Build, lead and execute strategic communications planning including marketing promotional plans and set targets for data-driven decisions. Create competitive advantage through brand recognition, position the brand to meet or exceed stakeholder expectations, apply brand standards and communication strategies to create a consistent perception and defend the company reputation as part of Brand Management. Develop and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs. Apply the appropriate tools and media types to create effective, high-quality visual and experiential media. Utilize graphic design skills, digital for business, metrics, paid vs. organic and advertising content to manage communications activities including technical and promotional material writing and content creation for product launches. Manage functional trainings and create and deliver presentations. Lead and coach on project, account and vendor management. Utilize data analytics to interpret and communicate qualitative and quantitative data, and determine conclusions relying on knowledge of business or functional frameworks. Apply statistics, data validity, data visualization and problem-solving approaches to effectively extract meaningful patterns and business insights for the marketing and communications teams to drive business decisions. Leverage current and emerging digital media strategies to influence buyer behavior and target audiences to a desired action. Translate needs, expectations, and asks from customers and stakeholders into actionable solutions through active listening and intuition, and choose or produce solutions to meet or exceed expectations. Champion digital tools, trends, and channels with stakeholders. Conduct market research and analysis by analyzing trends and developments in the engineering industry, utilizing knowledge of relevant technologies and market dynamics. Innovate and lead continuous improvement utilizing six sigma principles and Value Stream Transformation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Positions require a Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Communications Specialist or Analyst, Marketing Specialist or Analyst, or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field and 5 years of experience as a Communications Specialist or Analyst, Marketing Specialist or Analyst, or related position. Experience to include: Creative communication design; Strategic communications and planning; Create competitive advantage through Brand Management; Create effective visual and experiential media; Technical and promotional material writing and content creation for product launches; Account and vendor management; Data analytics and data visualization; Current and emerging digital media strategies; Conduct market research and analysis in the engineering industry; Lead continuous improvement utilizing six sigma principles and Value Stream Transformation.
