We are looking for a talented Account Management Specialist - Senior to join our team specializing in Sales in Billings, MT.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Strengthening Customer Relationships : By developing and maintaining strong business relationships with assigned accounts, you will ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, which is crucial for long-term success.
- Achieving Sales Goals : Your efforts in selling the organization's products and expanding existing customer relationships will directly contribute to meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Supporting Revenue Growth : Identifying and contacting new business opportunities, as well as participating in cost reduction initiatives, will help drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
- Enhancing Customer Communication : Leading and managing communication with customers at appropriate levels will ensure that their needs and expectations are met, fostering a positive customer experience.
- Implementing Effective Contracts : Negotiating and implementing contracts with accounts will help secure favorable terms for the organization, ensuring smooth business operations and mutual benefits.
- Managing Operational Issues : Addressing production and distribution issues associated with accounts will help maintain a seamless supply chain, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Championing Customer Feedback : Acting as the voice of the customer within the business and creating action plans based on customer satisfaction data will drive continuous improvement and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Driving Strategic Initiatives : Supporting account strategy, driving Customer Focus Six Sigma initiatives, and balancing inventory, service, and delivery capabilities will align with the organization's goals and contribute to its strategic success.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in marketing, sales, technical or a related subject or equivalent industry experience required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- Significant level of relevant work experience, including previous customer and/or product experience required.
- Purchasing/commercial contract negotiation preferred.
Additional Information:
- Role is responsible for Cummins Industrial sales growth in Montana- N Dakota territory, representing the Cummins locations in Billings, Williston and Minot.
- Products will include OEM and aftermarket engines sales along with parts and service sales.
Additional Qualifications:
- Education in a business or sales background, or technical sales, mechanical degrees are preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of Sales/Engineering experience dealing with heavy equipment, powertrain or industrial applications.
- Familiarization or understanding of rotating equipment and powertrain fundamentals.
Additional Skills:
- Critical skills will include strong communication with customers and service operations teams, quick follow-up to customer needs.
- Superior organizational skills and proven sales growth working autonomously across a sales territory.
