Your Role

As a Sourcing Manager at CSL, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing of Maintenance, Repairs, and Operations (MRO) equipment, engineering services, and capital goods to support requirements consistent with quality, reliability, service, cost, and delivery.
You'll evaluate suppliers, create and maintain contracts, and negotiate pricing to develop and implement sourcing strategies that underpin our global approach to deliver value and protect final product availability for our Patients.

Location: Broadmeadows

  • Partner with senior partners to identify sourcing needs, conduct buyer/market profiles, share marketplace trends, share best practices, and define acceptable service levels.
  • Lead RFx activities for all opportunities, negotiating contracts, and coordinating supplier integration plans with company partners.
  • Manage and own main and critical supplier relationships with a focus on performance management KPIs and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular Operational Reviews following Procurement's Governance processes.
  • Support ongoing performance and risk reporting within the function and presenting to senior business leaders.
  • Ensure clear goals and source strategies in the reduction of the total cost of ownership and risk, while increasing innovation, sustainability, customer service, compliance, and quality.
  • Participate in global transformation projects and continuous improvement plans to ensure the delivery of targeted benefits.

Your Experience
  • Five years of supply management experience focusing on MRO and Capex engineering, with demonstrated leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Communications, or equivalent.
  • Procurement/supply management experience.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related regulated industry preferred but not essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully negotiating complex supply agreements.
  • Collaboration skills and demonstrable experience influencing and presenting to peers and partners in a global matrix organization.
  • Knowledge and execution of Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, and Supplier Relationship Management.
