Could you be our next Senior Manager, Capacity Management? The job is in our King of Prussia, PA or Melbourne Australia office. This is a hybrid position and is onsite three days a week. You will report to the Head R&D Strategic Externalization & Business Operations.

You will establish and lead a centralized Center of Excellence (CoE) focused on R&D capacity planning, resource optimization, and. You will ensure strategic agreement across global R&D functions, optimizing the use of talent and infrastructure to meet portfolio demands.

The Role

  • Build the R&D Capacity Management CoE, defining our mission, governance structure, and operating model to ensure understanding of organizational goals
  • Develop and implement standardized frameworks for capacity forecasting, scenario planning, and resource allocation, ensuring that resources are aligned with portfolio priorities and timelines
  • Partner with functional leaders across R&D to align capacity planning efforts with portfolio priorities, ensuring resource utilization
  • Lead programs to enhance visibility into resource use, identify bottlenecks, and lead process improvements across R&D functions
  • Use data analytics and digital tools to create insights that inform decision-making and improve resource management
  • Establish measurements and dashboards to monitor capacity health and resource performance across R&D functions
  • Collaborate with enterprise functions (E.g. HR, Finance) to provide expertise on workforce planning, talent strategy, and operational scalability, helping R&D teams increase resource allocation and meet evolving demands

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in R&D operations, capacity/resource management, or strategic planning
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide or global Centers of Excellence (CoEs) or transformation initiatives
