The Sales Coordinator role supports the enhancement of Sales Team Effectiveness and Sales initiated programs and increases the capability of our sales force to engage with customers. This is achieved through supporting the Sales Team maximise Customer Access by enhancement of Educational Meetings and other means of customer access. The responsibility of your work will involve working with the Sales Training department on the implementation of induction and ongoing training and upskilling of representatives.

Accountabilities

Support the Sales Team maximise access to customers:

  • Ensure Representatives understand sales processes and responsibilities (including all SOPs)
  • Support the Sales Team to bring attendance of customers to educational events or programs

  • Work with Marketing to support the implementation and utilisation of follow up customer access resources
  • Lead administration to maximise PCT appointments (e.g RxTro)
  • Provide insight into representative activity (e.g Educational Meetings) and customer access and activity (e.g Appointment making)
  • Help develop programs that create customer access
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Lead for integrating digital channels into Sales Team promotion
  • Support Sales teams using fragments in Representative Triggered Emails (RTEs), e.g. how to draw across customer lists for the emails to be sent to, preparing reports and understanding KPIs related to RTEs
  • Support Marketing colleagues to get brand materials into Veeva vault and loaded into Sales iPads promptly (twice yearly and ad hoc)
  • To support Sales Team with implementation of Seqirus Educational Events and Sales Initiated Third Party Sponsorships:
    • Work with Marketing and Sales Leaders to help implement planned Educational Events through the Online Education Meeting Portal
    • Development of Education Meeting Templates and resources for representatives use
    • Communicate with the Sales Leadership team to implement National and State Third Party event sponsorship opportunities including completion of sponsorship agreements
    • Manage relationships with Third Party Event organisations
    • Manage all Field Force using the Thrivase events portal

  • Lead induction training and ongoing training of Sales Staff
    • Coordinate sales and marketing induction training.
    • Active support and training of the Sales Team to maximise confidence, adoption and use of digital technology
    • Conduct any training which is not product, sales or business management for all new employees
    • Report all expenses associated with managing these programs
    • Sales Ops Manual development and onboarding - this is an important document which must be up to date and supports HR processes (e.g. performance management) as it outlines minimum standards expected of all Field Force
    • Onboarding Field Force to important requirements they must fulfil and ensuring they comply, e.g. collecting demerit point checks for all field staff, collating and printing cycle books, support to prepare and send out communications to Sales and wider groups, checking all field staff send in confirmation of annual flu vaccinations
    • Onboarding and offboarding Sales staff - coordinating return of equipment, assigning training, first aid kits, phones, iPads

    Administrative and project support
    • Support the Sales Excellence directorate with administrative requirements

    Requirements
    • A degree/qualification in Science / Technology / Business / Marketing or equivalent
    • Previous sales experience / e.g Retail, Telesales, Pharmacy
    • Experience in digital commerce and Educational Events is preferable
    • Customer Service experience
    • Experience utilising digital tools
