Your Opportunity

At CSL Seqirus, we are driven by our promise to protect lives. As a global leader in influenza prevention and pandemic preparedness, we are investing in a next-generation biotech manufacturing hub-our new, state-of-the-art facility in Tullamarine, Victoria. This facility will be the only cell-based influenza vaccine manufacturing site in the Southern Hemisphere and will produce antivenoms, the Q fever vaccine, and both seasonal and pandemic influenza vaccines.

We're looking for a Reliability Engineer to join our Engineering team and help ensure the reliability and performance of this the latest site. As a Reliability Engineer, you will lead the development of our Site Reliability Engineering Program. Your role is to enhance plant availability, improve maintenance practices, and drive continuous improvement in reliability, functionality, and efficiency-all while upholding the highest standards of cGMP compliance.

Your Role

Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, you will:
  • Champion Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM): Design, implement, and own the RCM strategy for the site.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Establish and manage a standardised RCA process, delivering relevant insights and improvements.
  • Improve Maintenance Tactics: Review and refine preventive maintenance strategies and support criticality assessments.
  • Drive Performance Metrics: Develop and report on plant availability KPIs, making reliability visible and actionable.
  • Monitor and Analyse Trends: Use data to anticipate maintenance needs and recommend improvements.
  • Implement Condition Monitoring: Set up and manage a proactive condition monitoring program, leveraging global best practices.

Your Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 5+ years' experience in reliability roles (preferred)
  • Proven experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical environments
  • Proficiency with SAP or other CMMS, and Microsoft Office
