Project Engineer - Decommissioning

The Opportunity

Join CSL's Site Exit Engineering team as a Project Engineer - Decommissioning on a fixed-term contract. You'll be part of a small, focused team of three, reporting to the Site Exit Engineering Lead, working alongside another Project Engineer. This role supports the decommissioning of CSL's historic Parkville site as operations transition to Tullamarine and Elizabeth Street.

The Role

• Execute decommissioning activities for equipment, utilities, systems, and facilities in a compliant and structured manner.
  
• Prepare and manage detailed decommissioning documentation aligned with GMP standards.
  
• Support medium to large-scale projects, including planning and coordination of plant shutdowns.
  
• Raise and manage purchase orders for goods and services related to decommissioning.
  
• Assist in construction activities and ensure safety and compliance throughout project execution.
  
• Contribute to project management documentation and reporting.
  

Your Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
  
• 3-5 years' experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical, food & beverage, etc.).
  
• Hands-on experience with commissioning or decommissioning of equipment and systems.
  
• Familiarity with GMP documentation processes and systems such as Veeva or TrackWise.
  
• Understanding of cGMP, EHS, and Quality Management Systems.
