• This posting is to create a hiring pool of production operator candidates to fill openings in Bulk.
• All positions require availability to work 8-hour shifts on a regular schedule. Employees are expected to work a reasonable amount of overtime, an essential function of the job, if conditions necessitate.
• This is a 24/7 manufacturing facility, and positions will require working weekend, holidays, and on any shift (day, afternoon or night). Shift schedules may change based on seniority and days off will be based on the needs within the department.
• This is a union-represented position requiring successful candidates to join the local 498C UFCW union. All wages and benefits are defined in the collective bargaining agreement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform all job duties in a safe manner according to Safety procedures and policies.
• Operate production equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
• Clear working area of residual product and clean production equipment in compliance with departmental SOPs and cGMPs, perform department sanitation.
• Monitor the flow of product through the production area to ensure that each product is being produced to the highest quality standards.
• Maintain efficiencies on the production line; observe equipment to safeguard conformance to quality and set standards.
• Prepare documentation according to provided SOPs.
• Prepare and complete production batch records in accordance with defined procedures, using HMI's, PLC's, or manual processes.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent vocational or technical training

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience with automated systems such as HMIs and PLCs a plus. Experience in a GMP environment preferred.
