The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Head, In-Market Logistics Operations, Americas, as the Manager, In-Market Logistics, you will conduct follow-up of logistics activities and related systems, imports, warehousing and distribution of finished product within Brazil. Your areas of responsibility will include all supply chain services: inventory control, material handling, import, 3PL and distribution management. You will provide direct daily operational support to the affiliate and as required by the business.
This is a hybrid role, which offers a combination of an onsite and remote work schedule. #LI-hybrid
The Role:
Imports
- Management of Purchase Orders created by Demand Planners.
- This role is responsible to follow up and monitor the shipping schedule from the manufacturing plants (K3, Bern, Marburg and BMW).
- Responsible to follow up on order readiness along with suppliers & import paperwork, customs clearance and coordination until shipment is delivered to 3PL's facility or any designated warehouse.
- Ensure inbound documents are fully compliant to local regulation and are timely received by the affiliate to clear customs.
- Ensure SOP's are in place and up-to-date.

- Follow up on operational performance (picking, packing, shipping and delivery).
- Support market complaint analysis, build RCA along with 3PL and carriers, ensure cyclic inventory counting and inventory accuracy (SAP x 3PL WMS).
- Monitor and ensure 3PL complies with agreed SOP's maintaining high quality standards across CSL operations.
- Monitor and ensure distribution network from multiple warehouses under CSL cold-chain requirements and SOP's.
- Keep great balance of distribution supplies across multiple warehouses.
- Hold monthly performance meetings with 3PL to track KPI's and set action plans if necessary.
- Ensure SOP's are in place and up-to-date.
Logistics Costs
- Financial Controlling of the cost categories related to Inbound, Transportation, Warehousing, and Supplies for the In-Market 3PL relationships.
- Forecasting on quarterly basis for the Inbound, In-Market Transportation Freight, Warehousing, Supplies spend and all logistics-related expenses.
- Market Cost Center budgeting during annual budgeting meetings with supporting justification for variances in Inbound, Transportation, Warehousing, Supplies costs and all logistics-related expenses.
Order Management/Customer Service
- Oversee accurate and timely entry, processing, and fulfillment of customer orders across all channels.
- Monitor order lifecycle and proactively address delays, shortages, and fulfillment issues.
- Liaise with logistics peers to ensure timely and complete deliveries.
- Ensure prompt and effective resolution of customer inquiries, escalations, and complaints.
- Maintain strong relationships with Commercial, key customers, addressing high-impact issues with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
- Track and analyze customer service metrics (e.g., order accuracy, response time, customer satisfaction) to drive continuous improvement.
Reports
Provide reports and KPI's as well as additional information as requested:
- Logistics Operations Monthly Report.
- Operation KPI's (inbound/warehousing/outbound).
- Supply Chain Costs- Inventory Reconciliation.
- Inventory Breakage.
- Ad-hoc reports.
Quality
Ensuring compliance with all CSL Behring Affiliate and CSL global SOPs, policies and quality system requirements as appropriate to the position including:
- Prompt reporting of all Adverse Reactions, Product Technical Complaints or Deviations according to Affiliate's defined SOPs.
- Completion of required training and maintenance of personal training records.
- Providing assistance as required in the event of a field action, as determined by the Recall team.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Graduation is required. Post graduation is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required. Spanish skills are desirable.
- Five years plus experience working in Pharmaceutical related logistics field.
- Desirable knowledge in SAP or other ERP system, and Transport and Warehouse Management systems.
- Proven knowledge of Supply Chain processes.
