Manager, HR Technology - Compensation

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Associate Director, HR Technology, as the Manager, HR Technology - Compensation, you will act as the technical owner of Workday's Advanced and Core Compensation areas within Workday and you will be responsible for driving the technical roadmap, management, and maintenance of Workday's capabilities. You will be required to be a leader with strong consultative skills and expert technical knowledge of Workday. You will work closely with our Total Rewards Team; as the technical point-of-contact, you will serve as a subject matter expert and provide support to the HR team in the areas of day-to-day transactions, continuous improvement, and designing system configurations to support various business requests. This is a hybrid role, which offers a combination of an onsite and remote work schedule. #LI-hybrid

The Role:
  • Develop and manage the Workday Compensation roadmap in partnership with our HR Functional owners and HR technology team.
  • Lead medium to large enhancements and projects, set and maintain project scope and timelines, mitigate risks, and ensure deliverables are met.
  • Manage HR Technology Analyst(s), through training, coaching, and providing feedback to improve individual and team effectiveness and provide direction to contingent worker resources and vendors.
  • Configure and test new setup, enhancements, and updates, ensuring all configuration changes are thoroughly tested, documented, and released according to guidelines.
  • Present demos and Proof of Concepts of new functionality.
  • Manage Tier 3 cases, including root cause and issue trend analysis.
  • Provide recommendations to leadership to improve employee/user experience and introduce new functionality to meet current and future needs.
  • Assess, strategize, and manage Workday releases and future functionality in partnership with internal Total Rewards stakeholders.
  • Coordinates with other team members and departments to ensure that Feature Releases, Weekly Service Updates, or other application enhancements, do not impact changes to downstream processing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relations with stakeholders through the facilitation of effective meetings, keeping stakeholders informed, and partnering on deliverables.
  • Collaborating with the HR Team and other departments to identify and recommend needed improvements and enhancements to existing processes and solutions.
  • Support broader cross-functional Workday projects as needed.

Your Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in business/HR/Technology required.
  • 5+ years of relevant Workday experience with 2+years of Advanced Compensation experience required.
  • Global Systems experience.
  • People Management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills including problem-solving, attention to detail, and clear communication of complex results.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Ability to build trust and cultivate relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and shift gears on short notice.
  • Demonstrated ability to train team members on technology and best practices.
