The Infusion MSL is a medically trained professionals who serves as a clinical-scientific customer facing voice of CSL Behring. She/he supports our immunoglobulin and other infused products and therapeutic areas through professional interactions with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL), Healthcare Practitioners (HCP), and clinicians at Healthcare Organizations (HCO). These interactions will focus on the exchange of scientific data/evidence, disease state and infusion practice education, and discussions that reveal relevant insights about the clinical landscape & clinician perspectives, scientific gaps, and unmet educational needs. These interactions will inform Medical Leaders' understanding about the clinical-scientific landscape and shape strategies and actions that fill important gaps.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the expert in infusion, immunoglobulin (IG) product and indicated clinical-scientific knowledge. Maintain knowledge about the broader portfolio of company's products and apply infusion science expertise accordingly.
  • Build and demonstrate fluency in responding to unsolicited medical requests and discussing the disease states and scientific exchange behind company's products.
  • Identify and engage strategy-aligned KOLs/HCPs/HCOs in plan-based interactions with which to develop professional relationships and exchange clinical-scientific information relevant to the safe and appropriate use and infusion of company's products.
  • Deliver engaging and impactful education/training programs on the scientific evidence and safe, appropriate, and optimized administration of company products to a broad range of HCP, HCO, and advocacy audiences.
  • Discuss clinical-scientific questions and follow listening priorities to generate insights into practical issues, unmet patient and clinician needs, and competitive information relevant to the company's infusion therapies. Lend input into strategies and actions that fill and/or solve gaps.
  • Attend medical-scientific conferences to maximize educational opportunities and scientific share of voice.
  • Provide clinical, scientific, and infusion education and consultation to internal audiences in partnership with Medical Leadership.
Qualifications:

Education: Advanced Nursing degree or PharmD with strong healthcare clinical and infusion experience is preferred and/or clinical training with strong relevant experience is required.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 yrs pharma, healthcare, or specialty pharmacy experience required; MSL experience preferred
  • Immunoglobulin therapy expertise required; Immunology or neurology experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to fluently discuss and conduct education and training of clinical-scientific information and technical aspects of infusion
  • Deliver engaging and impactful presentations live and virtually
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a dynamic, field-based environment

The expected base salary range for this position at hiring is $155K-$195K Please note this salary range reflects the minimum and maximum base pay that CSL expects to pay for this position at the listed location as of the time of this posting. Individual base salary for a successful candidate is determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies and other relevant factors. In addition to base salary, total compensation for this role will also include incentive compensation and may include equity.
