Head of Corporate Security Intelligence
The Opportunity
The Head of Corporate Security Intelligence (Director level) is a leadership role responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive global strategy to identify and reduce internal and external threats to our company. You will oversee the enterprise-wide security intelligence function and the insider threat risk management program, integrating behavioral analytics, threat intelligence, and investigative capabilities to safeguard personnel, assets, and information.
We are looking for collaboration with internal departments and external partners to provide a unified security approach. You will identify risk identification and mitigation, while ensuring understanding of CSL's strategic goals.
The Role
Strategy
- Design and implement a global corporate security intelligence strategy aligned with enterprise risk management and business continuity goals.
- Lead the Insider Threat Risk Management Program at CSL, including behavioral threat assessment, digital risk monitoring, and investigations.
- Manage a team of contractors responsible for delivering comprehensive all-source risk, threat, and intelligence services-including assessments, evaluations, investigations, and executive briefings.
- Participate in joint Corporate-Business Unit working groups to evaluate and update policies, assess vendors and third-party services, and recommend software solutions that support intelligence and counterintelligence operations.
- Lead efforts to build processes across the all-source intelligence and counterintelligence space, ensuring enterprise risk and security goals.
- Build, manage and develop a high-performing team of intelligence analysts and investigators.
- Develop intelligence collection protocols, analytical frameworks, and dissemination standards.
- Deliver relevant threat assessments to support executive protection, travel security, and operational resilience.
- Oversee the design and implementation of insider threat detection tools, behavioral analytics, and case management system(s).
- Partner with HR, Legal, IT, and Compliance to provide a versatile approach to insider risk mitigation.
- Lead investigations into insider-related incidents, ensuring root cause analysis is conducted and corrective actions are completed.
- Ensure compliance with global privacy, labor, and data protection laws in all intelligence and insider threat activities.
- Maintain understanding of our Enterprise Risk Management Framework and Risk Appetite thresholds.
- Benchmark program against industry standards and regulatory expectations.
- Design and delivers threat awareness briefings and compliance training.
- Deliver technical assistance on laws, regulations, and internal requirements.
- Must stay current with global trends, intelligence, and regulations.
- Represent CSL in industry forums and trade groups.
- Aim to increase level of leadership and demonstrate CSL values.
- Build relationships with partners in Supply Chain, Commercial, Quality, Regulatory, Real Estate Manufacturing, Legal, Cybersecurity, HR and Facilities.
- Accountable for planning, developing, and executing investigative programs and strategies according to CSO directives.
- Interpret all relevant data and apply appropriate laws, orders, rules, and regulations about investigations.
- Plan and conduct investigative operations, staff investigative requirements and oversees training of subordinate investigators in the complete spectrum of investigative techniques.
Your Skills and Experience
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, Security Management, Behavioral Science, or related field. (master's degree preferred)
- Have an active/in-scope security clearance
- Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Threat Manager (CTM)
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
- Insider Threat Program Manager (ITPM)
- Intelligence Community or Law Enforcement credentials
- English proficiency required.

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in security management roles, with demonstrated expertise
- Track-record in compliance programs, risk management, and incident response.
- Experience in systems management and leading people.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and versatile teams.
- Experience with threat actor methodologies, behavioral threat indicators, and intelligence tradecraft.
- Experience with insider threat platforms, SIEM tools, and behavioral analytics.
- Work in a matrixed, resource-constrained, and diverse environment.
- International travel is required approximately 10-20% of the time.
