Intern, Compliance and Business
Willemstad, Curaçao
Monday - Friday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm

The Intern for the Compliance Department and Business Team will help the Compliance & Risk Manager and the legal and financial account managers with the work related to the ongoing business of a trust office and her clients.
The learning objectives for the Intern are: gain insights and experience in trust, compliance and risk -and client-company processes both administration and corporate services, a general understanding of digital applications used nowadays for archiving and understanding the importance of these digital applications.

Some of the things you'll be doing:
- Update information in internal compliance administration system (VP);
- Assist with set-up and introduction compliance TPTM;
- Assist with clean-up archives;
- Assist with digitalization of the corporate client files;
- Assist with the filing & archiving of corporate documents;
- Assists with other legal and compliance projects;
- Assist the RMG with the compilation of the Legal Document Register and determine the duration and validity of documents (ao agreements);
- Assist the FAM and RMG by drawing up annual agendas for the client-companies, in which important dates are included, such as date for holding the meeting of annual general shareholders meeting, date of final profit tax return, due date when to receive necessary information for preparing the annual accounts, compliance regulations, etc.;
- Assist the legal and financial account managers in maintaining and updating the digital corporate file of the client-company.
- Currently attending college, university, or a similar training program
- Commercially driven, to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Self-motivated, can work well both independently and in a team
- Focus on client service and delivery
- Strong attention to detail
- Computer knowledge required;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
